Ferrets suffer from a variety of diseases and tumors such as insulinorma, tumors, heart disease, bowel conditions and complications, the liver and intestine, and spleen. Many pet ferrets are plagued with multiple issues simultaneously. Most diseases commonly found in ferrets some type of veterinary care, which often required an operation.
